The street photo I got was one of a bunch I took in a parking lot. My camera was soaked before I decided to bribed (not really) one of my sisters into getting and holding an umbrella for me!
In my many years of my photography career, I might have some useful advice. Well, maybe not. Usually what I do is press the shutter button, look at the picture, frown, then take the picture again. Repeat this process about 45 times and when the fireworks are over, go home and load the ONE you thought was awesome and realize that it wasn't that awesome at all. That's my veteran photographer advice.
